Abstract

Abstract— The systemelaborates the design and construction of automatic light control system. Thedeveloped electronic system eliminates the disadvantages of the existingsystems.  Based on the results themicrocontroller calculates and automatically detects geographical area andretrieve relevant data for sunrise and sunset in the area, respectively ensuresvery precise ON/OFF mode of the lighting system. The circuit uses a lightsensor to sense the light. It doesn’t need operator maintenance and initialinstallation setup. The developed electronic device increases bulb life inresult of the dimming effect. On the other hand this decrease of theillumination leads to reduce in the energy consumption. Light sensors and microcontroller, relay are the main components of the project. Light sensor is likeour eye which detect the presence of an object and Relay is an electromagneticdevice which is used to isolate two circuits electrically and connect themmagnetically.
