Abstract: - A novel approach that provides, the user with an automatically generatedplaylist of songs based on the mood of the user. Music plays a very important role in human’s daily life and in themodern advanced technologies. The difficulties in the creation of large playlists can overcome here.This Music player itself selects songs according to the current mood of theuser. An automatic Facial Expression Recognition system needs to solve thefollowing problems: detection and location of faces in a cluttered scene,facial feature extraction, and facial expression classification. Then, theapplication returns songs which have the same mood as the user's emotion. Theexperimental results show that the proposed approach is able to precisely classifythe happy emotion.
