The information and technology hasinfluenced all the aspects of human life. Education is not an exception to thetechnology and information. Communication is the soul of teaching and learningprocess. The ICT provide innovative learning opportunities and provides forsignificant advancement in research. Therefore, to know the attitude of theteachers regarding use of ICT in teaching in higher education, present study isundertaken. Based on the responses of the samples it is concluded that thereshould be use of ICT in higher education. Teachers have a positive attitudetowards use of ICT in higher education, however, majority of the teachers havenot undertaken professional development in ICT. The collages too have notprovided the enough infrastructure of ICT to teach the teachers and students.
