Abstract

Abstract: Electric vehicles (EVs) are increasingly appearing on the market and on our roads. Due to their beneficial effects on health and environment, and as a means to further optimize energy use for personal transport, electric cars are of crucial importance for transportation. Wireless Electrification of transportation could be one pathway into sustainability since the electricity production can originate from renewable and low carbon energy sources. The aim of this project within the logisticsdomain is to interdisciplinary investigate the concept of wireless electrified roads and to define potential blockers and in various extents investigate their feasibility.Keywords-Electric Vehicle, Battery, Inductive Wireless Charging, Renewable Energy
