Abstract

Abstract: Image captioning technique is a complicated task that bridges both the visual and linguistic domains. Image captioningmodels are required to understand the content of input images to generate sentences with human languages. The attentiontechnique has been widely used in image caption task, which can provide more accurate image information for training deepsequential models. Automatically describing the content of images using natural languages is a fundamental and challenging task.It has great potential impact. For example, it could help people better understand the content of images. Also, it could providemore accurate and compact information of images in scenarios such as image sharing in social network systems. This projectaccomplishes this task using machine learning and image processing. By learning knowledge from image and caption pairs, themethod can generate image captions that are usually semantically descriptive and grammatically correct.Keywords: image captioning, image tags, python, Open CV, image processing, etc
