Abstract— Hydroponics is a type of soil-free growth system that feeds plants nutrients dissolved in water. It is named after the Greekterms for water and labour. Plants absorb nutrients in solution in soil naturally, however hydroponics delivers precise amounts ofnutrients while eliminating the need for soil as a growing substrate. In hydroponics, the required water level varies according on thesystem type, which includes floating raft, wick, drip, nutrient film technique, and ebb and flow.In plant factories, hydroponic systems such as the deep flow technique, nutrient film technique, and aeroponic systems are essentialinstruments. TDS, Ph, light, and water level should all be measured to ensure proper water and nutrient management in thehydroponic system. Because the nutritional solutions' ion concentrations fluctuate.
