COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE IRREGULAR MULTI-STORIED RCC BUILDING ON AN INCLINED GROUND WITH DIFFERENT ANGLES

Abstract

The structures are basically constructed on a normal ground level. Now-a-days due to shortage of land, construction has been done on an inclined ground. The hilly areas are most affected due to seismic activities. High number of damage experienced by the high rise building in the hilly regions, as result causes damage and collapsing; hence purpose of designing towards safety against natural hazards. The main purpose is to analyze the seismic task performed by Multi-Storied RC building on an inclined ground with different angles. The Multi-Storied building is taken at different level of slope angles. The slope varying from 25˚, 26˚, 27˚, 28˚, 29˚, 30˚ have been taken to analyze the structure. The results have been evaluated with the structure taken without slope and angles having plane ground. Thus the seismic analysis is the part of Dynamic analysis. There are two types of arrangements taken for the study along sloping ground .i.e. set back and step back. Hence G+10 RCC building is considered with different angles and slopes for analyzing. The analysis was carried by the Seismic Analysis Method. The whole process and the methods are carried out by IS-1893-2016 (part-1). STAAD pro software is used to explore the Response Spectrum Method. All the operations performed are the part of procedure which gives the result that the step back set back building is more suitable than other methods. Keywords: Trusses, hot rolled steel, cold forged steel, Howe truss, Pratt truss, Warren truss.
