Abstract:-Concrete is a major material used in a construction now a days. It is acomposite material containing cement, sand, Coarse aggregate and water. Due toincrease in the utilization of concrete in construction sector, the need ofriver sand and cement has been increased continuously. Limitations have beenlaid on the large scale of both cement as well as fine aggregate. This papermainly presents the practical study of the compression strength, flexuralstrength of the concrete in which GGBFS is used as cement and GGBS as fineaggregate is partially replaced. For this study we were laid for M40 gradeconcrete. The cement and fine aggregate proportion for design mix was replacepartial replaced in % of 10%,20%30% by GGBS and GGBFS respectively. Mixproportions are tested at 7 and 28 days of curing. The behaviour of concrete bypartial replacement of cement and fine aggregate with GGBS and GGBFSrespectively has been studied.
