Abstract: Nowadays,the amount of portable electronics products like mobile telephones and laptopcomputers has grown explosively. These developments have a resulted in massivedemand for secondary battery. The useful of lithium-ion batteries included nomemory effect, high operation voltage, and high energy density. Therefore, it'sthe foremost popular secondary battery for consumer electronics. The SoC andthe capacity of a lithium-ion battery are estimated using the dual EKF with theproposed method.In this report, a FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array)-basedSOC estimation algorithm is developed.
