Abstract:- Indian Summer MonsoonRainfall (ISMR) has a huge effect on India's irrigation, water and economicgrowth. Trend Analysis of various space-time ranges of annual and summer mozonprecipitation is an important factor in the long-term study of rainfallpattern. The aim of this paper is to define ISMR patterns at different time(decadal) and annual scales. India Meteorology (IMD) Daily gridded rainfalldata for the period 1901 - 2019 (0.25° x 0.25° spatial resolve) analyzedthroughout the annual and monsoon seasons reveals that the pattern has beendeclining marginally over the last 119 years (-0.18) in India ISMR. The studywas focused on the analysis of the linear pattern. There is a surplus of 14years and the shortfall precipitation period is 17 years, estimated from thetotal monsoon rainfall results from 113 years. Space-based study of the entireIndian climate of precipitation over 1901-1950 and 1951-2019 has suggested thatnortheast India is one large cluster with a substantial downturn, whilenorthwestern India has been rising in patterns throughout the last couple ofdecades.
