Abstract
Abstract: - This article is about theconstitutional validity of the places of worship Act, 1991 hereinafter. APublic interest litigation was filed before Supreme Court of India earlier as[WP (c)] 619 of 2020, but the court issued notice later vide order of theSupreme Court dated March 26, 2021. Mr. Dushyant Dave, a senior advocate ofapex court has challenged section 3 & 4 of the places of worship Act, 1991praying for being unconstitutional and against the basic structure of theconstitution.
